ABOUT
Behind Creative Matters
The heart behind Creative Matters—and the joy of making art one small step at a time.
Hi, I'm Christine Marie.
I've always been drawn to making things. As a child, I loved drawing, painting, and crafting, and that curiosity has stayed with me throughout my life.
Today I create intuitive mixed-media art inspired by color, texture, nature, and the joy of discovery.
Over the years, I realized that many adults quietly stopped believing they were creative. Creative Matters grew from a desire to help people rediscover that creativity was never lost—it was simply waiting to be awakened.
Creative Matters grew from one simple belief:
You don't have to be an artist to enjoy making art.
Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or returning after years away, I hope you'll find inspiration, encouragement, and the confidence to begin.
I'm so glad you're here.
Everyone Can Begin
You don't need experience or expensive supplies. Just curiosity and a willingness to begin.
Process Over Perfection
Making art isn't about getting everything right. It's about exploring, experimenting, and enjoying the journey.
Creativity Matters
Small creative moments build confidence, bring joy, and reconnect us with ourselves.
BEGIN
Begin with One Small Step
You don't need perfect supplies, perfect skills, or years of experience.
You only need curiosity and the willingness to try.
One small step is enough.
